Saffron Walden Cadets Win Cross Country Competition |

Three cadets represented 1824 (Saffron Walden) Squadron Air Training Corps in the Essex Wing Cross Country Championships recently held at Weald Park, Brentwood. 
The three cadets Instructor Sergeant Sarah Callow, Cadet Corporal Natasha Braybrooke and Cadet Alicia Foley were all entered in the Junior Women category for females aged between 15 and 20 years of age. After a gruelling three miles in difficult ground conditions Sarah finished second with Alicia and Natasha ninth and tenth respectively. These excellent individual efforts secured the Junior Women’s Trophy for the first time in the Squadron’s history. |
